Other Services
The Highlands/Cherokee Triangle area offers its residents a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and shopping establishments within walking distance. The neighborhood boasts beautiful historic homes, abundant natural beauty, and Cherokee Park (to name a few)! Whether you are on the run to get your morning coffee or walking your furry friend, you’ll find a place for everything in the Highlands. Keep reading for some of our favorite spots in the neighborhood:
Cherokee Park
Cherokee Park, designed by well-known landscape architect and designer Frederick Law Olmsted, is a 400+ acre stretch of land that includes a 2.4 mile scenic loop (that is walker, runner, biker, and driver friendly!), a golf course, dog park, picnic areas, and hiking trails. As park of the Highlands neighborhood, local residents can enjoy all the park has to offer in a short walk to the area. Dog lovers will especially enjoy all the pup sightings at dog hill and throughout the park. Pro Tip: When the snow comes, you can be some of the first folks to sled down the hill again and again! For more information on the park and what it has to offer, visit the Olmsted Parks website.

Whether you’re looking for a quick morning cup of joe or a place to sit down for a while, the Highlands has some of the best coffee spots in town. Here are a few local places we recommend:

- Heine Brothers’ Coffee
- Highland Coffee
